You may well have asked yourself what does go on in Mission Beach. Well, if you have then you have come to the right webpage. To be honest, we don't have that many international events. To my knowledge, Madonna, Pink, The Rolling Stones, U2 and the like have yet to perform here. We don't get too many famous sporting events such as a Tennis Open Championship, Soccer World Cup or Summer Olympics in Mission Beach (and pretty pointless for Mission Beach to apply for the Winter Olympics in my humble opinion).
However, the area does have numerous events, some of which are not globally famous yet - but who knows ? Perhaps one of our local events will become as renown as the Chelsea Flower Show, the Sydney New Year Fireworks, the New York marathon, Mardi Gras in New Orleans.
Markets - A small market is held in Mission Beach on the 1st and 3rd Sunday of each month. And from Easter till November we have a MONSTER market on the 4th Sunday. Open from about 8am through till midday.
